On the conditions for acceptability of actions, I believe the second one is that the act has a basis in/is in accordance with the sunnah – correct me if I’m wrong

This article is amazing, but could you write about another one which is more tailored towards students? Like right now I’m a high school senior and I see no Barakah in filling in college essays, but I still gotta do what I gotta do… So what can I do to get motivated about what (seemingly?) doesn’t have Barakah?

This article resonates with me so well right now. Since coming back from Hajj and from earlier this year, I have been struggling with trying to find my life purpose in terms of what i should be doing in the Dunya – work wise.
I do know and am working towards my deen alhamdulillah, but to meet my expenses meet, I am unable to understand what I should do that helps me to avoid wrong and fitnah in the world today. The job that I do is very hustle oriented and I have been hustle oriented in terms of work for more than 10 years. It’s almost a force of habit.
I am on the verge of leaving my job, and everyday I get upset knowing I dont know what to do next, how to meet my regular expenses, but I know that the more I continue the career path I have right now, the more I will continue to be pulled by the effects of Dunya and by this hustle.
I am struggling a lot these days. This article stamps on the fact that I should leave and move towards working for the deen. And my only two thoughts are, what if I fail in that and have no money, and second, what do I do next.
I have a small business idea in my head to open an online magazine blog for muslims across the globe, who work in offices and struggle with their deen like me. Yet, I keep getting struck on poverty – what if. :(
