Subhanallah! Allah is indeed Akbar! I was in tears and awe realizing how the verses of Allah were given even more meaning reading them in this article. I have never thought of the blind and deaf or any disability in such beautiful terms before. That this trial is indeed a blessing! Subhanallah to be able to shut out the worlds distractions by Allah’s mercy? Jazakallahu khairan sis. Perhaps one day you will share your story with us the truly blind and deaf ones who have never known this and i make dua for your strength to grow and your eeman too.

Yes, I am deaf and hard of hearing. I try very hard to believe and stay focused with Allah.
I read The Qur’an everyday and every evening. And also too keep up with my Prayers which is very important to me.

This is really an amazing article and it is timely as well. I have a daughter named Maridiyyah who is deaf. This article has really energized me not to lose hope in Allah over her condition.
