Getting rid of the “all-or-nothing” approach is one my weak points that I want to change in my lifestyle and embracing ups and downs is such a good pertinent advice to follow. “Surrounding with excellence” can be challenging, since I live in an “unproductive” society but Insha’Allah I try my best to look up to good inspiring people who encourage self-improvemnt for the sake of Allah (s.w.t).

Very practical and benefitting article.
We look at successful people and think that they are gifted, ignoring the amount of hard work that they must have put in.
I too aspire to memorise the Quran and also make my sons hafidh in sha Allah.
Bite sized portions n graduality n consistency n barakah of the early hours are very beautiful and useful tips.

In reply to Halimah binti Hussein. It is a typographical error should be six days, thank you I will submit the correction to the editorial team. To be clear from a theological perspective this means six periods of time, not 24-hour days, as made clear in various Quranic verses.

This is excellent motivation for myself as a student.

I intend to improve my productivity as this has made me realise of my shortcomings and the excessive laziness that plagues me. May Allah help me overcome and become a productive muslim. Ameen.
