We need artickes like these. We gifted our two sons an ipad each a few years ago and I noticed our mistake. They stopped sitting with us. Stopped playing football, socializing with neighbours. Even their grades and prayers were affected. We sat down with hem one dayand hada talk with them. We explained the problems and they agreed to stop. We bought them art stuff books and lego. They were happy. They started playing football again. We sit together as a family everyday and read together and discuss our day and plan the next together. We setup the home pc with time restrictions to make projects or play games. We can easily see what the kids are watching from a distance. They sleep early then we parents have our own reading time or whatever. May Allah guide us and help us fulfill the responsibilities of these kids.
