Such a pleasure to hear that you’re interested and have dabbled in design and doodling, and I understand why and when one can lose confidence and start to feel like they don’t bother to do it anymore, despite your initial interest.

I find inspiration and motivation from various sources, one of them you’re already doing, which is approaching other people who design and do artworks too! I love viewing others’ designs, messaging them for advice and resources or tips. You can join or browse online design communities like behance.net or deviantart.com.

Personally, because of my self-taught background, I am not one to think that a formal course or qualification is necessary in order for someone to successfully produce designs. Software and apps are merely tools to help, whereas design theory and skills can be picked up as you keep trying. That being said, I am sure there are many resources available should you need the extra confidence, including online services like udemy.com.

All in all, just do what you enjoy, with whatever tools you have available, and pray that Allah helps you to benefit the ummah through the endeavour. :) May Allah also grant you barakah in every effort!
