They only do what is permissible to them insha’Allah, and they do have scholars and teachers who give them fiqh knowledge. May Allah reward them and reward you. :) Additionally, they are not celebrating any specific day, they do this activity quite frequently beyond Ramadan (and once a week in Ramadan) – in an attempt to follow in the footsteps of companions, revive a Sunnah, please Allah (subhanahu wa ta’ala) and be of service to others. There is no celebration or designated day in the calendar, it is simply an on-going righteous activity. Jazakum Allahu Khairan. :)

Jazak Allahu Khairan. Kindly note that they are not calling for a “celebration” of any day. They simply added a name amongst themselves to refer to that they’re going to implement all four acts done by Abu Bakr (May Allah be pleased with him) which earned him the praise of beloved Prophet (Peace and blessings be upon him). It is only a way to follow on the footsteps of companions, revive a sunnah and bring goodness to other people. It doesn’t need to have any name. It is simply their way of saying that they will be doing like what Abu Bakr (May Allah be pleased with him) did. Jazak Allah Khair.
