Alhamdulillah, this article had some really handy tips , may Allah reward you for your efforts to please Him. I wanted to add something to the subject of savings as I read your comment. One way we can save for the future without having to use the haram banking system is to buy gold with our savings. It makes for a good investment and when the prices of gold are on the rise you can cash in your savings and it may help you when you really need the money Insha’Allah. I hope this helps. :)

JazakAllah Khair..but i have always been wanting to know, about the bigger picture. since banking is haram in islam, how does a muslim save for his future? many people (i know of) who live all their lives abroad intending to make savings for future return back as good as a teaboy, with no savings and no investments but their peers who had been saving every month in their respective bank accounts have reaped huge and can now live their retired lives peacefully having set aside enough for their children and their grandchildren as well. how do we make sure we’re not disadvantaged on that and what are the options for muslims to make money in a halal way?
