There are almost 30 books of her own writings… So better to depend on them to understand who is she.. No need to read a book written about her by a third person, especially when the writer has a hidden agenda!

I am grateful to productivemuslim.com for writing about such a wonderful lady. I didnt know that she passed away couple of months back in Lahore though I live in Pakistan. It would have been better if you had included her important books in this article. I always loved Dr.Asad and Maryam Jameela for their valuable contribution to Islam and believe that reverted muslims are a great future of Islam.
One thing which is confusing for me: She was against modernism and materialistic society. What does this mean? Why we muslims assume that modernism is something really bad? We mix up liberal cultures with modernism. Actually its basic values which will not change while other changes are part of life and increase our productivity.

I read about her some 20 years ago when I was still in secondary school. Her writings had inspired me to be a Da’ee.
