Jazakallah khaiyr for your wonderful articles and excellent work.  I found that the greatest lessons of hajj are sabr (patience) and khuluk (character).  You need bags of patience from the moment you set out on your hajj trip, throughout and all the way back home (and beyond).  You also witness the best and worst of characters and constantly have to remind yourself why you are there and who you are trying to please whilst striving to improve your character.
