Consider my advice as from your brother. Please feel free to decide based on my recommendations.

Looking at your English language from the words you wrote, I surely see a lot of scope of improvement in your English grammar usage. Especially the tenses and verb choices, etc. 

If I was your life coach, I would ask you to do a “muscle building” approach to your English reading process. When we want to be physically fit and build muscles, we usually do 3 things

1) Have a personal trainer who can give us the right exercises and weight lifting, and monitor our progress in a regular basis.

2) Dedicate yourself to a fixed exercise schedule per week – as suggested by the trainer.

3) Well balanced diet

Same way, in your case, you need 1) an English teacher who can help with grammar rules, 2) Spent some time per day reviewing your grammar and 3) Focus on reading  a good book for minimum 30 min per day

I recommended an English teacher to you because, after reading your written text, I see there are some fundamental grammatical things you might need to work on, before taking the study yourself. Once you do the basics, then you can continue the study yourself with good English study materials.

So, here is the takeaway
1) Get an English guide to mentor you in English (Make sure he is committed to help you. If possible, you can pay him for his service)
2) Dedicate 30 min every day reading quality materials (Avoid reading blogs as most of the blog posts contain grammatical errors. Focus on standard materials – New York Times or Wall street journal have good English content. You can also read good edited self improvement books )

Try this for a month and see how it goes. Once you are good with your English grammar, then you can start tacking the rest of the reading challenges. It is all a journey. We can make sure, we have a great ending. Inshah Allah

Thanks for the marvelous reply . . actually, i can see that it’s very helpful.
But the problem is that my level in English is good enough . . I already took courses till advanced level . . also, the article that I used to measure my reading speed, doesn’t contain new words.

Just to be aware of my situation . . I finished Engineering school with high scores . . even I got a diploma . . all studies are in English.

What I believe is:
1- I’m slow in reading.
2- I think I have a problem with concentration as well as problems with short term memory.

I always find a problem reading my technical books as I’m slow, so it would be hard to finish it . . that frustrates me very much . . it even drove to stop, which badly affected my self-development.

I think if I solved this problem . . it will dramatically affect my future.

Salam alaikum…Jzk for the question..First of all congratulations for taking the time to measure your reading speed. A journey to a thousand miles begins with a single step, and you took that step today. Bravo ! May Allah help you become a great speed reader in life. 

As you are not a native English reader, here are 2 things to focus on in addition to the content in this series.

1) Keeping a “new word” journal : Building your English vocabulary is of prime importance to make sure you don’t stop between the lines while reading the book. Keep a book where you take note of new words you read – that you are unfamiliar to you. And then, using a dictionary learn its meaning, and make sure you are able to recognize those words next time you see them. Review the new words regularly.

2) English grammar : In arabic grammar, the verb and tenses, change based on gender or pronouns, or the position of these words in the sentence, etc. English grammar is much more easier to learn. Try to take a course in English grammar, or study your own using a good grammar book, and it will immediately benefit in your reading.  Inshah AllahExtra credit : Having a buddy with you : This point I have covered in Part 2 of this series. Have a study buddy and help each other for getting the speed-reading skill. In your case, have a non-native English speaking person as your buddy. Don’t take this great journey alone.
