Dear Sabs, as you might know Islam enjoins moderation. Being online too much may cause a lot of long-term problems. It reduces concentration, adaptability, social interaction, and causes irritability, insomnia, and many other health problems.

Insha’Allah, I will try to compile a list (with proper references and research) of negative consequences due to too much usage of Internet. If using it too much is inevitable, then at least actions must be taken to minimize the harms.
