I cried when i read this story of Moses with his people while I imagine the situation that they were facing at that point when they were chased by the Firaun. I then imagine myself in similar situation. From now on I will always turn to Allah for help coz I belief Allah will always there for me.

Just an important point that needs to be raised. When mentioning Ashura, mentioning the sacrifice of the Prophets (saws) beloved grandson, Imam Hussain. Without his sacrifice for the sake of Islam, the religion would not have survived the numerous attempts to corrupt and distort it.

Thank you and wassalam

Bismillah Al Rahman Al Raheem
Salam 3aleykom brother Abdullah
I wanted to point out that I’ve sent the message in order to spread the word to the website coordinator that he should speak about Imam Hussein a.s (english translation: may peace (salam) be upon him (aleyhe)), who should be loved by all Muslims for he is the grandson of the messenger of Allah swt (notice the difference between “sub7anahou wa ta3ala” and “aleyhe salam”), and that his tragic martyrdom should be spoken about at least on it’s anniversary, rather than being ignored and replaced by something else.
Regarding your message,
1- I am a Muslim as much as you are, and I say “ash7adou ana la Ila7a Ila Allah wa Muhammadin an rassoul Allah” the same affection as you do.
2- You can say whatever statement about the lecturer as long as you have something supporting your claim. Unfortunately, you haven’t provided any evidence that the lecturer neither what he is saying are untrue
I don’t mean to begin a conflict within the Islamic sects. at all – I just wanted to clarify you about fasting on the 10th of Muharram, and to inform others about the martyrdom of Imam Hussein a.s by suggesting to have an article written about it on the website.
Wasalam
