However, I was expecting to see two more significant aspects of Islam there. I would have liked it if the concept of Tawakkul, which I think is the essence of positive thinking was mentioned. It would also be nice if being grateful to Allah was also mentioned as a good way of being positive. If we rely upon Allah the way we are supposed to according to Tawakkul, then there is no reason for us to have negative thoughts. Then Allah would make us positive, and also, if we thank Him for all the glorious things that He has given us, then that would also allow us not to despair and lose hope, but rather strive positively because we would know that He is there to help us.
